Pumpkin afternoon!

While the "potimarron", the "citrouille" and the "potiron" are growing with dozens in my garden, I made from the last "potiron" 2009 a pumpkin pie!
In the garden:

Before oven ...
Ingredients:
Filling: pumpkin purée, broth powder, pepper, nutmeg, garlic, 3 bay leafs, fresh goat cheese "Petit Billy", sunflower seeds, cherry tomatoes.
Dough: Spelt flour 150 g, 1 egg, Himalayan salt, 2 tablespoons olive oil, a little water.
Half hour in the oven.

Dat was dan eveneens het optreden van het Rosenberg trio (jazz manouche) met een ode aan Django Reinhardt!

Mandala for Body & Soul ...

My first strawberries from the garden are a blessing in my momently new life!

Due to health problems my meals are since 23/03/2010 without sugar, carbohydrates and lactose. Fruits poor in sugar, vegetables, proteins, cool fat, nuts, ... are on the menu.
Some people ask me: "What are you eating? Is it not boring?


I'm taking it like a purification process. For a long time I isolated myself from most people, finding myself in the purification of my soul. And finally ... after several months I found most of the spare parts of myself back! Step by step my health is increasing and my body gets stronger!
Notwithstanding this way of eating is rather hard, I can see it now like life-experiment in "art of eating"!
Today my mean dish was an edible mandala.

Lettuce, cauliflower leaves, tomato, alfalfa, strawberry, hawthorn blossom, spinach leaves, chive flowers, fresh goat cheese, ever green celery, chives, olive oil, "Cucurbita pepo" oil, Aceto Balsamico, fleur de sel (flower salt).

Me, yesterday on the flea market in Le Vilhain ... I bought this hat for 2 €!!!

And this nice buffet gave me enough possibilities to eat! What a pleasure!
